The events of this Twine game occur at the end of the Alan Wake 2 DLC Night Springs Episode 3. 

Alan Wake 2 is a game about a writer who invents new realities in order to stop a dark presence, who also invents new realities, from taking over.

The Night Springs DLC explores three of those new realities.

Episode 3 is about one of the recurring characters in these new realities who is also trying to stop the dark presence. This Twine game is a recreation of his final scene, where he attempts to understand a newly developed parallel reality, from its beginning to its tragic end.
